Hey, follow the instructions on this vid. Such an annoying problem!! I was on chat with Apple today to see if there was an official way to fix, but there is not. Anyhoo, this seems to work well, for now:)

Haha, brutal! And gave me that 'tales from the crypt' vibe. I love it :)

Great game - I really enjoyed it! There's lot's that I could compliment, but if I pick one thing it would be the beautiful visual design, both in itself and the way it aided the storytelling. If I had to pick something to criticise it would be that there is a crucial action near the end and we don't get to see ourselves performing it, which would have been way more satisfying. Thank you for the really fun experience! :)

Amazing vibe, the look and sound are really full of potential! Dialogue unfinished though!

Hi, i'm pasting here the same reply that I put to the comment above. I hope it helps:) (I love this game so much!!)

Hii, I'm in the same boat. I went hunting and found this helpful information on steam (I thing I will try making a separate volume that I can switch over to!):

There are several options that will allow you to keep playing your 32-bit Mac apps. The good news is we have Steam Play, which means that when you purchased your game on Steam you get a copy of this game on each OS that game supports. You will still be able to play these games on macOS 10.14 Mojave and earlier, Windows and in many cases Linux as well.

Options to keep 32-bit Mac games playable on a Mac computer:

  • Consider not upgrading to macOS 10.15 or above. By staying on macOS 10.14 Mojave or older you will ensure that your 32-bit apps are still playable on your Mac computer.
  • After upgrading to macOS 10.15 Catalina, consider installing macOS 10.14 Mojave on a separate APFS volume on your computer along with Steam. This will allow you to flip over to macOS 10.14 on restart of your computer where you can continue to play all of your 32-bit Mac games. More information here.
  • Use Boot Camp on Mac to launch your games in Windows on your Mac computer. More information about Boot Camp can be found here.

We love this game!!! Thank you :)

Hi there Sundae Month,

My daughter and I love your games. It would be so exciting to see this or any other of the other prototypes released for Mac? Look forward to seeing what you make next! ^_^

Hey there! Your game looks beautiful and amazing-- I cannot wait to play it!!

Unfortunately, though it loads okay on my mac and I can press 'new game' it seems to no be able to be able to handle it after that. No error message, just an inability to finish load up the visuals and only a couple of jerky frames of suggested movement. It's the kind of thing you would expect to see with something that was too processor-intensive, but I'm surprised because my mac is pretty new? Anyway, no pressure-- it sounds like you've done a great job anyway, but if you are curious here are my specs:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016)

Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 550 1536 MB

OS: 'high sierra' version 10.13.6 (17G65)

PS I'm at the correct resolution, and turning the graphics quality all the way down to low seems to make no difference. Thanks!

Great gameplay! Really good atmosphere. I like this game a lot ^_^

Jeeze cephalopodunk, you make the best games ^_^ !!

Oh yeah, please a mac version! I look forward to it!  ^_^

Nice game. I can see the potential - keep going! :)

I played this game again, and still love it! Thank you :)

I actually thought that was a feature?? The flying enemies can't be got if you let them come at you from above, and similarly you can't let the little guys (my daughter calls them the 'bunnies') come at you low.

Update: my nine-year-old daughter started playing this and didn't stop for days. She LOVES it, and she doesn't like anything remotely scary; my guess is that 'scary' is different to 'the empowering experience of butchering your cute enemies.'  : )

Heya! Really good game, and fun so far. Encounters are a bit too common maybe? But great set up, and it works really well! :)

Gorgeous, perfect visual design! I got nostalgia for a game that never existed; so weird! I love this game. Well done :) If only it were possible for you to make this into an actual, hand-held LCD game; I would love that!!

P.S. 405 woot!

Excellent demo. I had a lot of fun :)
